The management is frustrating and never helpful, just wants to tell you whats wrong with everything you are doing. The lack of pay and the amount of customers seen on daily basis when you are busy and the lack of customers when you are slow is always hard to keep your numbers where they need to be. This is for some a dream job, but for others a nightmare. You can’t take off work from Christmas to the end of April because it’s “busy season” and even after they will barely let you take off because then they are understaffed. Plus there is a 4 month period of time you’re not allowed to take off. Being a bride here is amazing but just don’t look too far into the job. Then when you ask to be trained on certain things that aren’t necessarily something you can just learn on the job they say it’s not worth their time or energy. They tell you it’s better to be trained “on the job” because that’s how everyone else has done it. In the end, they tell you sweet beautiful things to get you in the door and then leave you to drown. I was told I was getting paid a certain salary and then it was cut by $10,000 to satiate the other manager who didn’t even want to be a manager. I was told I had a competent management team when I got there. I was told that before I moved they would send me training info to get me started. I wouldn’t want any bride to go through what i went through.I was asked to move for this job. Do not recommend! The lack of communications and dishonesty is so upsetting. Save yourself the money, stress, tears, and sanity. I explain the time crunch they have put me in meant i needed to get the dress to a seamtress asap to even have a dress in time and i pointed out the flaws in the dress before i left the storeroom the manager, and kelly form corporate decides that the seamstress that the store told me to go could have done something to the dress. I contacted corporate as the manager recommended and they told me they can’t do anything about it because it has left the store. I contact the seamtress and she tell me i was right about everything that’s wrong with the dress, the neckline is jagged, linings we’re sewn incorrectly to obvious crinkles, folds in the dress, and sew lines were not straight. with such a huge delay, the manager told me to go to a specific seamtress that they send their customers to since the store seamtress is out. Not to mention it’s in horrible condition to which i pointed out to the manager. I finally get the dress 4 weeks before my wedding and come to find out that that fedex lost my initial dress and no one communicated that to me. ![]() ![]() no call oct 15, called the manager and she states it should be getting to corporate that day and they’ll over night but we wouldn’t receive it til 3 days later… that’s not what overnighting means.Īll this time i’m stressed that i will not have a dress for my wedding that’s on nov 21st because of the time it will take for alterations and such. no call on 29th so i called them oct 1, spoke to the manager and say there was delay with manufacturing and corporate says it’ll be here Oct 15. Ss so i called them and they said there a “delay” and will be here sept 29th. ![]()
